JEM Training Day
11 September 2008, NTNU
Trondheim, Norway
Satellite event to the 4th European Workshop on Mathematical & Scientific e-Contents

The 4th JEM workshop will be organized to disseminate the technologies and activities of members of the network. It will create the opportunity to experience, with guided activities, the latest developments in software and tools that improve the way mathematics can be communicated and taught online. Within the JEM community, there is a wealth of experience in preparing interactive lecturing material, in developing and programming with mathematical software and in delivering mathematical lectures using a variety of learning environments. This training day offer you the possibility to actively organize a session with people who share the same interests as you do and are interested in learning about your way of using the technologies.

Organizational Details

The tutorials will take place at the Gløshaugen campus at NTNU, in the Realfagbygget building. See the map for all important venues of the meeting.

The tutorials include hands-on exercises. Participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own laptops in order to profit at best from the activities.
